Assists the Administration in organizing and supervising all office functions. Performs administrative secretarial duties for the Administrator as well as supervises clerical employees (payroll, business office, medical records, reception). Takes and transcribes minutes of staff and committee meetings, and distributes to the designated personnel, including Corporate Membership meetings. Assists people coming into the office, and directs them to pertinent departments. Screens phone calls, sets appointments, and answers any questions. Must possess an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or similar field, from a recognized college; OR a High School education and at least three years experience in an appropriate business setting. Must work proficiently with the appropriate keyboard skills to take meeting minutes, use the company’s software, as well as other PC functions such as word processing and spreadsheets.
