United Helpers Behavioral Health & Life Skills (IRAs) -- UPDATED Visitor Restrictions (3/19/2020)
Effective March 19, 2020, no non-medical staff will be permitted to visit United Helpers Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs)
In addition, all staff will be evaluated for signs and symptoms of infection including elevated temperature, cough, shortness of breath, or other illness prior to entering the building.
The decision to suspend visitation is in direct response to continued emerging guidance from the OPWDD, CDC, Public Health, and governing bodies.
- Questions or extenuating circumstances should be discussed with the facility Administrator and/or Director Of Nursing.

United Helpers Rehabilitation and Senior Care (Canton and Ogdensburg) - UPDATED Visitor Restrictions (3/12-2020)
Effective immediately March 12, 2020, no non-medical staff will be permitted to visit our Canton and Ogdensburg skilled nursing facilities.
The decision to suspend visitation is in direct response to continued emerging guidance from the Department of Health, CDC, Public Health and governing bodies.
COVID -- 19 (Coronavirus) can present with mild symptoms to severe illness and death. Many of the residents we serve are at a higher risk of serious illness from the transmission of COVID -- 19. Symptoms may present 2-14 days after exposure. Symptoms such as fever, cough, and shortness of breath should be reported immediately.

Mail/Delivery of Personal Items, etc.
Friends and family of residents at United Helpers Rehabilitation and Senior Care in Canton or Ogdensburg may drop off personal items at the main entrance of the building, inside the foyer. Please include the resident's name on all items. If the item is perishable or needs to be delivered quickly, please call ahead and ask to speak with the Social Worker or Unit Manager.
