RiverLedge Residence is a not-for-profit adult care facility serving St. Lawrence County and the North Country for more than 30 years. Located off the scenic Seaway Trail, just outside the city Ogdensburg, our residence overlooks the picturesque St. Lawrence River and offers spectacular views of the river and seagoing vessels.
RiverLedge Residence offers private accommodations with case management to assist and coordinate health and social needs; daily meals and snacks, developed by a registered dietitian; on-site staff 24 hours/day; medication assistance and supervision; daily activities; laundry and housekeeping services all included in the monthly rate. RiverLedge Residence is not a skilled nursing facility, however additional services are available should the need arise.
A lounge and separate dining area are a major part of the social center of the RiverLedge Residence. Special programs, parties, church services, musical entertainment, and exercise classes are just some of the activities held each month at the RiverLedge Residence. Sitting rooms, a lending library and hair salon are also available for resident use.
Our walking paths and raised garden beds offer our residents the opportunity to get outdoors and exercise their green thumbs. For those who want to explore the community, Ogdensburg offers many restaurants, the Frederic Remington Art Museum, the Ogdensburg Public Library, and several shops.
Rooms can be furnished at no additional cost, however, guests are encouraged to bring their own furniture and decorations as desired to create a home-like atmosphere. Rooms can comfortably accommodate a twin bed and dreser, with room for a television, computer, chair and night stand. Cable television is available for a nominal fee and telephone/internet hookup is also available.
