Updates, How We Are Protecting Your UH Family, and How You Can Help

Behavioral Health

Specializing in a range of therapeutic services, our Behavioral Health Clinics (in both Ogdensburg and Canton) feature professionally licensed staff who provide quick, confidential access to assessments and plans of care for people of all ages.

The clinics offer a variety of treatment options for people facing a range of complex issues such as depression, abuse, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). We also have flexible hours (with families and children in mind). Individual and group services are available.

Assertive Community Treatment

Our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team helps people who have persistent behavioral health disorders to live more independently in the community. Unlike traditional outpatient services, the ACT Team is based where you live and work. ACT provides treatment, rehabilitation, case management, and support services delivered by a mobile behavioral health team.

Gateway Apartment Treatment

Alternatively, our Gateway Apartment Treatment program provides housing, support, and education for people diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness, to help them return to community life. The program provides a safe environment and skill-building in areas like medication management, daily living skills, self-care, and budgeting.

Supportive Housing

Our Supportive Housing program offers financial assistance to those diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness. The purpose of this program is to secure and maintain safe, affordable housing for eligible individuals.
