United Helpers, founded in 1898, is seeking LPNs to work at Rehabilitation and Senior Care in Canton. Applicants must have the skills, compassion and commitment to deliver high-quality services to people in northern New York.
Responsibilities include making nursing assignments based on competence and abilities of employees, supporting and enforcing infection control policies and procedures, as well as assessing residents, and completing and reviewing admission data records as defined by policy.
Our LPNS must make accurate and ongoing assessment of resident’s health status and responds appropriately. He or she will communicate with physicians regarding resident needs, the nursing assessments, and recommendations. They will also collaborate with other nurses and health team members to ensure the resident’s well-being.
They must demonstrate the ability to handle emergency situations in a prompt, precise and professional manner, cover for peers during vacations and at other times of facility need. He or she may also be asked to assist residents, family members or other visitors with concern and empathy, while also respecting their confidentiality and privacy. All communications must be conducted in a courteous and respectful manner.
