United Helpers, founded in 1898, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) with the skills, compassion and commitment to deliver high-quality services to people in northern New York.

Responsibilities include applying principles for safely administering and documenting medication and/or treatments and demonstrates good judgment in determining the use and effectiveness of PRN medications, documenting nursing interventions, response to interventions, clients needs, problems, capabilities, limitations, and outcomes.

Applicants must have knowledge of common uses, interactions, side effects and contraindications of all drugs administered, and the ability to take direction and initiate actions (cross/additional training) without direct supervision that will allow the assumption of cross-functional duties to ensure seamless client’s care.

Our Registered Nurses also assist in the orientation/training of new team members.
