Description: 

United Helpers, founded in 1898, is seeking Resident Supervisors to work either evening shifts or day shifts at our Spruce Street IRA in Ogdensburg. Applicants must have the skills, compassion and commitment to deliver high-quality services to people in northern New York.

Responsibilities include providing support and supervision of staff, ensuring efficient and effective operation of the facility for their assigned shift, ensuring the provision of appropriate services and recreational and community activities in accordance with the program member’s interests, as well as educating, mentoring, coaching, and supporting program members in the development of daily living skills and habits.

Other duties may include conducting, scheduling, and evaluating fire drills, as well as upholding fire safety regulations. Completion of and following up on necessary documentation and reports may also be required.
