United Helpers Behavioral Health & Life Skills (IRAs) -- UPDATED Visitor Restrictions (3/19/2020)
Effective March 19, 2020, no non-medical staff will be permitted to visit United Helpers Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs)
In addition, all staff will be evaluated for signs and symptoms of infection including elevated temperature, cough, shortness of breath, or other illness prior to entering the building.
The decision to suspend visitation is in direct response to continued emerging guidance from the Office for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), the Office of Mental Health (OMH), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), St. Lawrence County Public Health, and governing bodies.
- Questions or extenuating circumstances should be discussed with the facility Administrator and/or Director Of Nursing.

United Helpers Rehabilitation and Senior Care (Canton and Ogdensburg) - UPDATED Visitor Restrictions (3/12-2020)
Effective immediately March 12, 2020, no non-medical staff will be permitted to visit our Canton and Ogdensburg skilled nursing facilities.
The decision to suspend visitation is in direct response to continued emerging guidance from the NYS Department of Health, CDC, St. Lawrence County Public Health and governing bodies.
COVID -- 19 (Coronavirus) can present with mild symptoms to severe illness and death. Many of the residents we serve are at a higher risk of serious illness from the transmission of COVID -- 19. Symptoms may present 2-14 days after exposure. Symptoms such as fever, cough, and shortness of breath should be reported immediately.
