A Gift that Lives On

A Gift that Lives On

In the past couple of years, the world has had to bid farewell to Constance (Connie) Dillingham Hanson and (Donald) Bruce Hanson. They were fast friends to United Helpers.

Bruce was born in 1926, and he passed away in 2021. Connie was born in 1929, and passed away in 2022.

They married on March 31, 1979. Between Connie’s career and service to her community, she found time to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for the Society of the United Helpers, as well as a stint as President. She retired from board service for UH in 2003.

While being active in his own civic groups and clubs, Bruce also owned and ran the Hanes & Hanson Hardware Store in Waddington NY for decades.

Connie and Bruce very kindly remembered United Helpers in their estate plans, decades ago, which were then realized earlier this year. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for their affection for UH.

Read their full obituaries to learn what wonderful people they were, if you didn’t have the chance to know them. Thank you, Connie and Bruce.
