United Helpers Day Habilitation encourages adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to gain volunteer, community, and work experience. Skills are promoted through a broad range of fun and stimulating activities from crafts to exercise to music therapy to computer skills.
A fun space
United Helpers Day Habilitation is located at 100 Ford Street in Ogdensburg, NY, and is available to people living in United Helpers IRAs and to those living in the community. The complex features specialized class and craft rooms as well as regularly scheduled activities within the community.
Creating meaningful experiences
Day Habilitation offers participants experiences as volunteers and community contributors and is designed to help people build work and life skills through a range of fun and stimulating activities.

Day Habilitation is a place where friendships are forged and memories are made.
Our small classrooms and gym are designed to support learning experiences for each person, regardless of the activity. Throughout the day individuals may participate in sewing, crafts, exercise, computer use, woodworking, as well as volunteer opportunities with our community partners.
