Update for the week of July 24, 2020
United Helpers Behavioral Health and Life Skills (BHLS) Day Habilitation Program resumed limited operations yesterday in Ogdensburg. Following guidelines outlined by the Office for Persons With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
Procedural program changes include limiting occupancy in rooms and vehicles, screenings, the usage of masks, social distancing, and enhanced disinfecting procedures.
OPWDD has also offered guidelines for in-home visitation at Individualized Residential Alternatives. BHLS staff are currently working on protocols and hope to offer in-home visitation soon.
