Update for the week of January 7, 2022
United Helpers Rehabilitation and Senior Care in Canton currently has eight active cases of COVID-19. This includes seven nursing home employees and one nursing home resident. Full building testing has revealed no further positive residents and will be repeated early next week. Visitation remains open but is not encouraged at this time. Please refrain from visiting if you feel unwell in any way.
New York State is now requiring that all nursing home visitors must receive a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result one day prior to visitation for antigen tests and two days prior to visitation for NAAT (e.g. PCR) tests. More information regarding visitation can be found here:
