CANTON – The Church and Community Giving Tree in Canton recently gifted 25 holiday-themed gift baskets to residents at United Helpers Rehabilitation and Senior Care in Canton.

“Each and every year I continue to be amazed by the generosity and talents of the people in this community,” said United Helpers Activities Director Dawn Kimble. “The holiday season really does bring out the best in people.”

Mrs. Kimble said the baskets will be distributed to residents prior to Christmas, as many of the baskets contained holiday décor.

“A lot of people really enjoy decorating their rooms and doorways for the holidays, so we will make sure the baskets are distributed in time for them to fully enjoy their gifts,” she said.
